“Distortion & Reverb” floral print 02 Glacier Blue
ESC's original floral print features flowers encountered and photographed in everyday Tokyo, arranged like musical elements. The floral assemblage was then boldly deformed and thematically coloured to embody the concept of "distorted and reverberating sound." The artwork was created by British artist Weirdcore, renowned for his mesmerizing visuals for some of the world’s most admired musicians. In this unique creation, he transforms the floral composition into a contemporary piece that evokes musical landscapes.
Artwork 02 reimagines flowers as geometric shapes, likened to flying electronic sounds, and is coloured using five tones (printing plates) derived from a glacial colour palette.
PRINT 5 silkscreens handprint
The printing is handcrafted by a renowned dyeing studio with over 100 years of expertise in blending advanced craftsmanship with innovation. Multiple layers of silk screen plates, meticulously crafted by plate makers in Kyoto, are brought to life through the expert colour mixing and printing techniques of dyeing artisans in Tokyo, resulting in vivid and richly textured prints.

Traditional Takashima canvas specially ordered by ESC from an artisanal textile maker in Shiga Prefecture. Woven with unbleached 100% organic cotton yarns, this canvas has excellent moisture absorbency and boasts a comfortable feel as well as superior durability and strength.
Cashmere-blend wool corduroy
The black side features the finest wool and cashmere corduroy fabric from a renowned worsted textile maker, established in 1912, celebrated for its exceptional quality in Japan. This premium fabric, with 7% cashmere carefully woven into the surface, offers a luxurious sheen and an incredibly smooth feel.

CARE GUIDE
The five-colour pigment dye is handcrafted by the dyeing artisan, so there is some unevenness in the colour. Due to the characteristics of pigment dyeing, changes in texture and colour fading due to friction may occur over time. Use and store in dry conditions as prolonged exposure to moisture and high temperatures may cause discolouration, colour migration, and odours. If dry dust or sand stains adhere, remove them with a dry cloth or soft brush. For water-soluble stains, wash gently by hand in ambient-temperature water and always dry in its original shape before use. Never use alkaline agents, bleach, fabric softeners, or brighteners.
