ARTWORK
“Distortion & Reverb” floral print 01 Ocean Blue
ESC's original floral print features flowers encountered and photographed in everyday Tokyo, arranged like musical elements. The floral assemblage was then boldly deformed and thematically coloured to embody the concept of "distorted and reverberating sound." The artwork was created by British artist Weirdcore, renowned for his mesmerizing visuals for some of the world’s most admired musicians. In this unique creation, he transforms the floral composition into a contemporary piece that evokes musical landscapes.
Artwork 01 draws parallels between emotionally nuanced flowers and the sound of a resonating vocal, using six colours (printing plates) inspired by the hues of the Mediterranean ocean.

The printing is handcrafted by a renowned dyeing studio with over 100 years of expertise in blending advanced craftsmanship with innovation. Multiple layers of silk screen plates, meticulously crafted by plate makers in Kyoto, are brought to life through the expert colour mixing and printing techniques of dyeing artisans in Tokyo, resulting in vivid and richly textured prints.
FABRIC
Enshu plain wave textile
ESC's custom-order parachute fabric, featuring a plain weave, is manufactured by a prestigious textile maker established in 1928, situated in the renowned Enshu textiles district of Shizuoka Prefecture. The high-density, smooth textile, made from 100% organic cotton yarn, is meticulously woven on an old-style shuttle loom, requiring advanced craftsmanship. It gives a delicate yet resilient silhouette, possessing durable and moisture-absorbent properties. The cotton yarn is unbleached to preserve its natural pleasant texture and colour.
